Tatiana Schlossberg, the granddaughter of the 35th U.S. president, died on Tuesday after a recent announcement of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.

The sad news was confirmed in a online announcement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Diagnosis
Within a published essay late last year, she disclosed that she had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia with a uncommon variant.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
